Before you start.

Who owns the platform, Shopify or WooCommerce?

Shopify operates its own hosted platform and bills you directly for it. WooCommerce runs on hosting infrastructure, which Synthos can provide through a WooCommerce Managed Growth plan, or you can host it yourself.

Is hosting included?

Shopify's hosting comes from Shopify directly, not from Synthos. WooCommerce Managed Growth includes a Synthos hosting allocation as part of the plan.

Are apps and plugins included?

Each package includes a set number of standard app or plugin integrations. Premium apps, plugins, and their subscription costs are separate.

What counts as a product or variant?

10 shirts × 5 sizes × 4 colors = 10 base products and up to 200 variants. Collections or categories organize products; they don't multiply the product count.

Are third-party costs included?

No. Platform, theme, app, plugin, and subscription fees are separate and generally paid directly by you.

What happens after launch?

You can run the store yourself, or move into Shopify Care or WooCommerce Managed Growth for ongoing support.

How do change requests work after launch?

Within your support window, minor fixes are covered. Beyond that, a Care or Managed Growth plan covers ongoing requests, or larger changes are scoped as a new project.
